IRRIGATION SYSTEM CABINET

Slowly we are finalising the little house to set up the control system for our irrigation.
End of the week we will install the pump and cables to run the water from the well (picture 1)to the irrigation platform (pics 2-3).

70 YEARS OLIVE TREES BROUGHT TO THE PROPERTY

The first 30 olive trees, which we purchased from a property in Maipu (20 kms away), were brought and placed at the center of the finca. Next week we will plant a total of 100 of such trees along side the main access road of our property in the heart of our vineyards

LAST WOOD STICKS BEING PLACED

After almost 2 months and 20 people working on the ground we have now placed 18.000 sticks. By end of this week we should be able to start watering the property

GETTING READY FOR PLANTATION

The countdown for the vineyard planting is running. We will start watering the soil end of next week, while our workers are finalising the wood support set up and installing the irrigation system.

OUR SECOND ASADO

After a long week we had another asado with Chucki (irrigation manager), Mario (agronomist), Amaya (topographist) and "El negro" Suarez (Workers contractor)

IRRIGATION SYSTEM- 50 % COMPLETED

With 2 engineers from Chile and Chucki (the guy standing with the hat), our freshly assigned Irrigation Master, who will be responsible for this task in our future vineyard we installed the tubes and valves in the ditches

WOOD SUPPORT - 75% COMPLETED

As of september 11 we have installed 12500 sticks and completed the northern and western part of the property

INSTALLING IRRIGATION SYSTEM

On week aug 24th we started to install the tubes in the trenches and prepared the platform for the automised irrigation system. We have decided to work with Hidrotop from Chile, which has excellent technology and expertise in artificial irrigation of vineyards in South America.
