OUR FIRST ASADO

As part of the work was finalised we had our first home made asado together with our agronomist, topographer and workers supervisor.

WOOD SUPPORT FOR VINEYARD

We have now selected 2500 "algarrobo negro" sticks, which have been placed on the northern part of the property, which makes approx. 15 % of the total planned. 12-18 peolpe work six days/week in selecting the sticks, cutting them to the appropiate size and transporting them to the whole, which is made with the help of a tractor. A worker makes then sure that the sand is filled and all sticks remain stable in the soil.

STARTING WITH VINEYARD STRUCTURE

After completing almost all soil-preparation work, we have initiated the next important phase in our vineyard set up.
We bought 25.000 Algarobo Negro Woodsticks of 10 cms of diameter, which will be placed within the next 2 months on a surface of almost 30 hectares by a dozen of local workers.

The first important job was to get the wood to our property, then we cut the sticks to the appropiate size layed them according to our master plan and began to place them accordingly.
