PLANTING OUR WINES





On october 17th we started with the final and most important stage of our vineyard set up. Within 15 days 120.000 wine plants have to be planted on 29.5 hectares.

FIRST INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL GAME




At the end of a hard working week the workers organised a regional football tournament. While our dog was protecting the alu wires, the Irrigation installers from Chile played against the locals and the paysanos (as the Bolivians are called here)

WATERING THE OLIVE TREES






After we planted 70 olive trees we had to spend several days and nights to revive the dry trees by pouring huge amounts of water into the ground

PLANTING OLIVE TREES











On october 3 we finally started pumping water out of the ground just in time to begin with the plantation of our plants. While we still need to drain the water through the whole property for an entire week before we are able to plant the vineyard, we anticipated the planting process for our 70 year old olive trees. By october 7 we had 50 trees planted

ELECTROPUMP & CABLES INSTALLED







Finally we installed electropump, cables and connected it to the electricity cabinet. On Monday october 3 we will be able to pump the water out of our well on a regular basis and start watering the property to get ready for our vineyard plantation

80 OLIVE TREES BROUGHT TO OUR PROPERTY









Several lorries had to transport the 70 year olive trees from Maipu. One of the truck drivers had his problems getting there. The trees will all be planted in the first week of october along the principal sideroad of the property

IRRIGATION SYSTEM CABINET CONSTRUCTION




By end of september we have almost completed the cabinet and were setting the roof to give the electrical devices and computers protection and security
