End of february we signed a services agreement with Permasur to rent space for wine production in a new high tech winery located in Agrelos, 5 kms from our vineyard. In 2007 we will buy 20.000 kilograms of Cabernet Sauvignon & Malbec to be harvested by end of april. The grapes have already been identified are 4 years old and 100 % certified organic.
If everything goes acording to plan we will get 20.000 bottles out for sale in mid 2008. Stay tuned for further updates on how we are planing the harvesting and wine production process
In a few days we will start harvesting 10.000 kg Malbec grapes from a neighbouring vineyard, which is specialized in organic wine. Even though it has been raining for the last 3 days the quality of the grapes are excellent. Mario has just come back from the field and provided us with these pics to get a look and feel for the ripeness of the selected grapes.
