GRAPES TURNING RED

As we are reaching summer 's peak the grapes are slowly changing their colour. The Malbec grapes are ripening fast and we are very impressed by the amounts and the quality so far. Mid february we will decide if we do use this year's vintage for making our first own Estate wines.

VISIT FROM AUSTRIA

On january 16th some friends from Vienna came and visited the vineyard

HAIL ON THE VINEYARD

On Sunday january 6 th we had a very strong hail storm on our vineyard- it was the third this season. Fortunately we have installed the antihail net last september, otherwise we would have lost 25 % of our grapes. Check out the pictures to see how the leaves were harmed by this storm.

NEW YEAR IN THE VINEYARD

After the departure of our guests we had some relaxing days to enjoy the long and warm days in the quiet vineyard and to satrt with fresh energy the new year

VISIT FROM OUR PARTNERS

On the second Christmas Day Andre & Rosalie and Jeremie came with their children to spend two days on the vineyard. We had some grilled asado goat, horseback riding, a tour through the vineyard, some extensive winetasting of our upcoming and other wines from Mendoza. We had a marvelous time together and should definitely repeat such gatherings in the future.

Christmas en famille

Our first Christmas celebration as a family with my wife Ulla and our daughter Anastasia enjoying for the first time the traditional tree decoration and the Christmas Carol singing and dancing around the tree in the middle of our vineyard in Mendoza. As tribute to our mother, who passed away in June we are of course keeping up with the Danish Jule traditions.
